Hi everyone! Currently, I am sitting in ILMAH, which is the inflatable lunar mars analog habitat at UND. I am one of the four crew members selected to do research in here for two weeks. I am one week in and it has been so much fun. We've been doing brain scans, flying drones, building robots, watching space movies, reading vitals, and so much more. Once I get out of here, I leave for my internship three days later. I'm so excited to move to Seattle for the summer, but I am going to miss flying the Piper Archer at University of North Dakota. I plan on coming back after my internship and finishing my CFI training, so wish me luck! I have until August 31st to finish up my training, or else I will have to retake my ground school. It may not be fun having to retake it, but it was definitely worth taking a break in flying for this space studies research mission.
Since this is my last post, I wanted to say thank you to Global Air for inspiring me to write this blog. It's been an amazing experience and I have loved sharing my aviation endeavors with y'all. I also wanted to say thank you to my Aunt Sarah, my biggest fan who reads my blog every week. I love you and can't wait to see you in two weeks after not seeing you in over a year!
