Midterms

Hi everyone, it's midterms week! Technically I've had midterms last week and this week, so it's been two weeks of studying and stressing. I also got my first shot of the vaccine, so I couldn't fly all weekend. For this week, I figured I would talk about timely ways to destress when flying, school, and work life all piles up. Of course, one of the best ways to destress would be a spa day, but not all of us have the time and money for that. One of the main ways I relax is by doing some sort of hobby. I've gotten into embroidery, which I think is really fun. I'm also working on a painting for my mom for her birthday. When I do my hobbies, I try to fill the time that I would be on social media or watching Netflix instead of the time I would be studying. Another relaxing activity for me is getting my nails done. I always feel better during my day if my nails look nice. Having nails and flying don't tend to mix, and I've broken my last two sets on the airplane. I put below photos of what happens to nails when you fly. I broke the first one on the door in the Piper Archer, and the second one on the fuel selector in the Piper Archer. I also love to exercise, and running really helps me destress. I have two more flights scheduled this week, so hopefully I'll have more flying updates next week!
