Hi everyone! Happy holidays! I'm currently in Castle Rock, Colorado with my brother, pregnant sister-in-law, and my parents. I haven't seen my brother since before the pandemic started, so I'm very excited to be here. Most of my day is spent working, studying for my oral, and doing homework. I'm taking a specially offered three-week winter break class through UND, and the topic of this class is women in aviation. After learning about men for three years, I'm excited to take a class that is all about female aviators. This fall semester went really well and I got all A's, so I figured I would share what my favorite class was. Just like most pilots, I love to learn about different planes. I took a class through UND that was all about aircraft acquisition planning. I wrote out multiple plans for scenarios for class, and even got to write a real plan for a real business. I was able to use Global Air to estimate what these planes would cost for the potential buyer. This was a great class and learning opportunity. One of my favorite planes I got to research was the HondaJet. One of the scenarios required a quiet cockpit, which is how I stumbled across this aircraft. Because of where the engines are, this plane is known for being quiet. It also has a carbon-composite airframe, great sound system, bathroom, and so much more. If I had an extra five million dollars, this is the aircraft I would buy.
